[CanPassRail] Re: More On Would-Be Terrorist Attack On A Train

The authorities aren't releasing many details right now. Here's my theory about what these would-be terrorists had in mind. Other than high explosive bombs like we saw in the Madrid train bombings of 2004 that killed and maimed lots of people, derailing a train is no guarantee of high casualties.

The best place to do that would be the bridge over the Niagara River, which for these creatures would have a symbolic value since it spans the U.S.--Canada border. I'm not sure how many hundred feet it is to the bottom of the Niagara Gorge, but toppling a passenger car in such fashion would certainly make the kind of statement these sub-humans seem to crave.

Undoubtedly we'll learn more in the next couple of days.
